Whether a private person or a company comes with a broken hard disk, no distinction is made in price. The same price is charged for everyone who needs data recovery. Lately we have been getting a lot of questions why no distinction is made. Why is there no difference?
Why not a discount for private individuals? It's all expensive enough already!
The main reason why Data recovery does not distinguish between companies and individuals is because no distinction can be made in the amount of work required to perform a recovery. In other words, the cost price for a recovery is always based on the complexity of the case and not on who or what you are. Fair enough, right?

Unfortunately we have not yet invented a crystal ball...
To explain what we mean, we give you a simple example; suppose your car no longer wants to start and you contact your garage. Would you immediately ask your garage owner about the repair costs during the first meeting? Exactly… Thorough research is important and diagnosis costs are unfortunately necessary. The same start-up costs apply to everyone, simply because we can never see in advance what exactly the damage will be to the media carrier with every diagnostic request. In other words, we cannot look into a crystal ball and say exactly what the data recovery will cost in advance.
Private individuals often end up paying less than companies
Of course, a data recovery from private individuals is often less extensive and is often in a slightly lower price range, but here too the initial start-up costs apply that also apply to companies. Companies often require more extensive data recovery, such as servers with multiple disks that have broken down or virtual server environments that have become corrupted, etc. These are often more complex and labor-intensive jobs for our specialists, where the cost is often much higher. In addition, data recovery is often urgent for companies, because business activities must continue. That is why the actual recovery is often more expensive for companies than for private individuals, but this cannot be predicted in advance.
Honesty is the best policy
Data recovery is simply pricey. It is often possible to estimate the final costs in advance, but we use a wide bandwidth for this. This is often slightly higher for companies than for private individuals. We prefer to give a fair price indication in advance, rather than confront the victim with a nasty surprise afterwards. So, there is no differentiation between companies and private individual in terms of doing there data recovery, and the price of data recovery depends on the amount of damage have been happened and how eagerly you need your hard drive, computer or anything that got damaged.
